I didn't know there was going to be another Centurion sculpt. It looks good, but what were the reasons for a third version?

Often, when a mold wears out, the piece is resculpted. This is actually the fourth (at least) sculpt of the Centurion; the first two were similar, but one was two parts (upper and lower halves) and the other was just one.

A fun project that was worked on in conjunction with the Centurion Omni.  That's it mainly. IWM was interested, and it is more in line with the current scale. The Centurion Omni actually has the basic skeleton of the new Centurion as it's skeleton, and they are the same height.

It's not currently replacing the current sculpt.

I just bought a trio of Unseen Shadow Hawks, too. ;D The big one I'm waiting on is the Marauder, because screw secondary market prices on those.

Also, for those who follow my big ol' minis list, I've updated it.

Yeah, sure, nice and all, but where the hell is my locust?

(I kid. :P You people make it hard enough to avoid blowing tons and tons of money as it is.)

Good news is the lab boys say the symptoms of asbestos poisoning show an immediate latency of 44.6 years. So if you're thirty or over you're laughing. Worst case scenario you miss out on a few rounds of canasta, plus you've forwarded the cause of science by three centuries. I punch those numbers into my calculator, it makes a happy face.

Yes, they will. My goal this weekend was distro release, oldest items in backlog and the two fan finance mechs.

Yes, should have been there but looks like import failed. Will add it today.

Cheers and many thanks speck, that is awesome news.

Now I have to save up some funds so that I can add them all to my personal Brian Cache as well as stock up my miniature pewter arms dealership.

Now that you said that the new classics come out I wonder if it´s worth delaying my current order. Is it? Presumably when will those classics come out?

The first classics are fourth quarter releases, so can you wait four to six months?

One question I have about the new Classics (and I fully understand that the question may be one that can't be answered either for reasons of confidentiality or "we haven't gotten to that stage in the process yet"):

How many pieces are you projecting the Shadow Hawk to be broken in to, and what is the complexity of its assembly reckoned to be? I just ask as I remember some of the earlier releases that came with a multiplicity of teeny-tiny fiddly parts...

Assembly on the Shad is very deliberately being kept modest. I understand where the fear is coming from; I was around when the first Reseens came out too. Right leg/hip, left leg, torso, arms, AC, SRM. The SRM will be fiddly, but that was necessary for... reasons.  :-X

There are no pictures of a finished product of the Ostscout. This was done in CAD and was just recently sent to our printer.
