On pg 19 under Attacks it is discussed that one uses the rules on pgs 242-247TW for ground attacks and return fire, but what happens if you're using the Advanced Anti Aero from pg94-96SO?

Specifically, what's the velocity of the ASF for purposes of return fire?

The problem is that units using abstract aerospace don't have velocities, and in any case, the recent aero errata changes to TW have made that SO rule largely redundant and unnecessary. 

Maybe keep the bit about only counting hits that beat the armour threshold towards the lawn-dart roll, if you think fighters are underpowered, but I think you can largely ignore the rest.
