The base is a plastic Ral Partha UK

How do they compare with the Ironwind bases? I use IW ones and know I'm getting hammered on the cost but I want a sense of uniformity so I stick with them.

Ironwind metal base on the left, and Ralpartha plastic on the right.  The partha is slightly smaller, and less tall.  I use it for all my armor, infantry, and turret units.  I use the metal base for the mechs

I use round bases for my infantry an BA. Though I do want kanazuchi ba so might have to use 20 cent pieces. Aesthetics are everything  ;)

I use Flames of War bases for some of them.  After that it's what ever I have around
