These are a bunch of links I've been collecting for a couple years now on making paper buildings. The scale may vary and some may not be active, but it a start.

You may want to go through them and delete the inactive ones.

may be with a litle ajustment of the printer setting you can make these 10mm buildings work.

print them out at 66% of standard size and they work great!
Also, if you like putting bottoms on the buildings, don't forget to leave tabs on the bottom of the walls. They were not drawn on the pieces originally.
a note about the "self print" buildings. They are supposed to be printed on A3 paper (close to 11x17). They may not print correctly directly from the pdf when scaled down. I loaded the pdfs into paint shop pro at 300dpi, then resized them to 66%. Then printed them from PSP using "center on page" option selected.

super thanks for the tips ratboy O0

I apologize if this strays off topic too much, but from one of the links posted, I stumbled on this:

Is it just me or is that incredibly AWESOME?

Here's some that look to be too small for Mechwarrior but may scale well to Battletech.

http://aliens.humlak.cz/aliens/aliens_papirove_modely_gb.htm
These require scaling down twice (or little more) for Battletech.
A large portion of Hadley's Hope is here, with landing grid and all devices. Great to build a decent spaceport or colony-like settlement.
There are also paper vehicles here - need scaling down, too.
Jan Rukr from Czech is creating really great papercraft models. If You want USS Sulaco in Battletech scale (will require small scaling up and A LOT of work) You can also get it from another page of his (link is on LH sidebar).

Here is a site with some Sim City 3000 models. They might need adjustments.

Most of this is for MechWarrior Dark Age, but they can always be changed in size ratio. Of most interest is the Classic Battletech scale Comstar hyper pulse generator.

If one needs a small German town:

Needs scaling down almost twice, as this is in 1:160 scale.

I just found this one - suitable for some House Liao (or wherever Chinese influences are important) urban or suburban area. It is in mech scale.

There is another building on that site, a large stadium, but I don't think it's 1:300 anymore:

You can. I would recommend gluing on to poster board or matte board. Use a spray adhesive (Scotch M77, etc.) to laminate them, other glues will have too much moisture and will cause warping.
[Mods, can this and the prev message be moved to a new thread?]

So instead of Elmers glue stick that I was thinking of using, use instead a spray adhesive?
-
Instead of spray adhesive You can also use non-acrylic wood lacquer (nitrocellulose one?).
Thanks for that link. Funny, You found me a Polish guy's page I was browsing and did not find it. ;)

Saving for later. Thank you.

Found these nice road sets on GHQ forums you have to scroll done the page a little. The roads are impressive. There also some nice building textures on the previous and next few pages.

One note on these -- they make for extremely good buildings, but you need to save the PDF to your computer and then rotate the pages 90 degrees in Adobe Reader or another PDF reader program for them to print properly at the right 1/285 size without cutting off roughly 1/3 of the page.
Otherwise, as I found out -- after I'd built the Nyan Nyan restaurant (Minmay's restaurant)model :-[, when you print directly from the web, it automatically sizes down to fit the entire page, resulting in a building roughly 4-4.5mm scale rather than 6mm (it measured out at 20mm tall, rather than the intended 30 mm, going by the handy and very welcome sanity-check scale the designer provided O0)...

Hey guys I'm new to the forum and I know this topic had not been updated in a while, but I figured this was the place to ask my questions.
I'm interest in knowing if anyone know where I might be able to find a place to download these buildings?

The forum these photos came from doesn't appear to be active anymore. I've been banging my head against the walls trying to track these down without success.
These are also interesting:
http://i.imgur.com/umbTXqk.jpg
In addition, can anyone show me a screenshot of these buildings?:
http://www.smallrealities.com/home/battletech-paper-buildings
I'm having issues with my computer can't even get them to preview for me. So I can't tell if they're worth pursuing or not. :-\
I'm on the hunt for small scale buildings of all types. Working on a custom miniatures game and I'm running out of options for buildings. I cam across the Sarna buildings for Battletech some time ago and the work so well with my project. I'm just a little surprised that I can't find too many more downloadable paper-craft buildings like them. They're great because I can resize them for my own purposes. The downloadable Dropzone commander buildings are also good in this regard, but the well is running dry on those as well. Does anyone else here have any suggestions?
To give you an idea of what I'm working on and what I'm looking for this is what my test city looks like so far (NOTE: Be sure to scroll across. My pictures are apparently too big to display on the screen as is): ;D

Any help would be appreciated. In return I can tell you guys where I found some of my other buildings that are off the beaten path. I've been looking around for some time now, found some cool things. :)

That is a awesome set of buildings. I like the 3 sided rounded building (modeled off that building in Chicago Lake Point Tower) is awesome

I am on a quest to find a new source of buildings to add a little more diversity. Notice anything missing that I should investigate?

Gale Force 9's TANKS game has PDFs with terrain that may be useful for Alpha Strike:

Do the 3d Puzzles that are sold work for some terrain. I know most are not the correct scale, but you get the point.
-
There are many with scale spot on.
Their detail on the edges is sometimes too revealing.
But overall you can find wonders, like this one:

Also keep in mind, there are puzzles made of wood. I have a Hungarian palace in 1:300 waiting for my retirement.

I use CubicFun 3D's C-series which seems to be on spot with the scaling to BT's metals, worktroll has a picture of St Peter's with mechs and Lego street plates

Awesome index! I might recommend your own thread (like I did in my sig block, at least once the link issue has been resolved)... :)
Maybe the mods can make a pinned open thread for paper models and terrain .

Only way to know is to ask! :)

Only way to know is to ask! :)
Probably disinclined to do that. This thread is already pinned and we're biased towards fewer pins, not more. I could entertain the idea of *replacing and updating* this thread and bring that back to the mods to discuss, if there's some kind of community consensus. Otherwise we'll likely be inclined towards status quo.
