The following thread is for errata as found in the Interstellar Operations Open Beta Test: Force Creation PDF.

Before making a post to this Errata thread, please first have it reviewed and discussed in the Discussion thread. Some things that might strike as being worth errata are actually very deliberate inclusions to the rules.

Please note, you MUST follow the errata format as described in this thread. Specifically, this thread is NOT for discussion...use the "Discussion" thread for that work.

p. 2, Terminology, eighth line:

"consisted of 4 Crops"
Change to:
"consisted of 4 Corps"

I'm assuming typo reports require no discussion - if that's incorrect, by all means let me know.  Unless it was the elite Parsley, Sage, Rosemary, and Thyme Army.

Straight typos can be posted here, yes.

Under 'Average Experience Rating' (pg 3), Arnold's force has improved to Veteran for 20 rep points.  In the next section, 'Command Rating,' the 13 points are added to 10 (for Regular status) instead of the 20 points of Veteran.  Total points at that stage should be 33, not 23.  And all later running totals need to be adjusted also.

Force Operations.pdf is incorrectly labelled as "Creating a Force" on both the Battleblog and the downloads section of the website - you can only see which is which by checking the filenames.

Force Operations open beta PDF

On page 2, in the paragraph Terminology, third sentence: "Crops" should be "Corps".

On page 7, in Stage 2,  the Note about placeholder appears to be overtaken by events (OBE).

On page 7, in the Missions Table,  unexplained "*" occurs 3 times in the Special column.

On page 20, under Additional Equipment, "Industrial Elevator" has an unexplained "*".

Also, on page 4 there is mention of "optional back story" and its lack of effect.  Does not appear in this chapter.

Thank you for your input.  [copper]
It's not about winning or losing, no it's all about how many chapters have you added to the rule books after your crazy antics.
