Oh yeah - are schedules should be getting better so I'd expect more games coming up.

Fun game lots of mechs were dropped - Morparmessiah was a monster on the field with the highest kill number.  Bincho was a close second. Redfox also had a respectable showing - Novacat and myself did our best to not be completely just sitting ducks out there  ;)

Unfortunately there were no mech explosions in this game (errr), maybe next time.  }:)

Here are some pics of the city fight.

The first pic is view of the city board and big thanks to Endgame for lending us the large scale buildings and bridge for this event.

Enjoy!

There were couple of fuel tanks that litter different parts of the city - very bad for mechs standing close to them  }:)

One of the objectives to the game was controlling the small building that Novacat Ristar's Firestarter was guarding. The building controlled 3 AC5 gun turrets placed on top of 3 buildings and whoever controlled the building control the AC5's.  8)

Although here comes an Atlas threatening to take it away...

Here is Morpar's Catapult providing LRM support for his team and literally right above all the action.

Good afternoon everyone,

I live in the Bay Area and was interested in coming over, however it is a bit of a hike (have to take Caltrains/Bart) and was wondering when you guys play from/till? Also, what BV/Era/Rules are you using?

I play lots of megamek, but I have not really had a chance to get into the miniatures/dice aspect of it. I might have to use proxies/loaners if possible. I can print out mech sheets before-hand, so that shouldn't be to much of a problem.

Thanks for your help!

Hi Einhander,

We normally try to play every first Sunday of the month but that all depends on people's schedules so we use an email distribution list to determine what date works for everyone.

We are playing this Sunday Sept. 18 at Endgame in Oakland.  Since I'm running this game it will start at 10:30 and will run to about 5.  If you are on someone's route home you might be able to be a ride home.  If you can't get there till later we will get you in the game.  You need to bring nothing - I will supply terrain, minis and record sheets.

Just show up and play.

MM

That is perfect timing! I might stop by this weekend.

I didn't realize how close Endgame was to Bart, thats really convenient.

Yes - it's right next to the convention center so they kind of had to make Bart stop there.  The store is super nice if you haven't been there before.

I was personally hoping for at least one head cap with my Uller's gauss...  :(

All told, great game, thanks for running the scenario! Also want to give you kudos for the great Ghost Bear and Ice Hellion paint jobs.  [notworthy]
