Thor would be good with me. The fortnight concept gave me the kick in the pants needed to finish my Hunchback, so another kick would be welcome to get my Thor completed too.
"Well, I do, Marcus, and rule number one of the MAC has always been that the man with the plan leads. If we get shot up, I'm the first one to get my ticket punched. There are no flags in the MAC."
"And there never will be," Barton said, nodding his head in agreement.

"You guys are facing a freaking Shadow Division! These guys have strict policies against playing fair!"

"I don’t care. Kill them. I planned the defense so I know it will work. If they claim otherwise, they’re cowards. Any step back is a betrayal of me, and saying they don’t have enough men is just an excuse for incompetence and disloyalty. Tell the Krypteia to do it if you’re too soft but get it done." -Emperor Stefan Ukris Amaris I

I have an odd fascination with Panthers and modifying them, but never posted them.  Could we do a Panther showcase in a few months?

I've got a couple Thors hanging aroundfor the fortnight thing, one in a crazy AA variant. However, I'd be interested in seeing Wolfhound make the fortnight topic. I'll jive with whatever though, I just like looking at mini's and commenting on them

Eventually I'd love to see the Wolfhound as well.

Someday.

...after I get my XTRO one done.  ;D

I've got one in the colors of the 1st Steiner Strikers. A very cool mini! I'd likes of get a couple more and lead a wolfhound lance.

I like it so far, but the right arm is proving to be extremely resistant to remaining attached despite several attempts. Trying again tonight, but this has been frustrating so far.

I currently have five different thors painted. Prime, A, B, C, and Z. I can include not only pictures of the minis but what parts were used in the making of them. I do have one of the IBS plastic ones floating around somewhere.

I'm at an original-sculpt (which for some reason I did in Davion BoG colors- I think that's when I cut back on booze was because of that), and the rest are all the new sculpt- a Prime, an A, a B, an E, a custom config (four ERML, ATM-6, Ultra-10), and another Prime (plastic) on the workbench. It's a great mini, and a great Mech overall. Plans are afoot to do an H sometime as well, once I get around to getting another Thor anyway.

Annnnnnd ... it's up!

http://bg.battletech.com/forums/index.php?topic=54538.0

So ... next fortnight's mini. I think we need to go Clan. Shall we go Timberwolf or Mad Dog, or top end with Warhawks or Direwolves? Or is there a better Clan mini we can agree on?

W.
Timberwolf, Mad Dog, or Warhawk would work for me.

Go Timberwolf so we can also cover the Mk II, Mk III, and Mk IV.  Should be a very grand thread.

I think the notion of one Inner Sphere and one Clan Mech per month seems a good pace.

Okay, making an Ombudsman's call this time, next fortnight is the Thor.

I'd push for IS/Clan alternation, but I'll listen to the voices on the IS design for the fortnight after this.

Cheers,

I like the choice, I have one Thor to show.

For IS, i like the Wolfhound, although Atlas or Jenner are other options.

Are we going to alternate through Mechs and Vehicles and possibly infantry? And, if so, what ratio should we go by? A vehicle every quarter?

So for the IS rotation after the Thor I'll re-pitch the Dragon, the Zeus, and add the Guillotine, the Thunder, the Axman as well as second the Wolfhound.

Okay, we've sort of let this one slide. Collating back through, how does this sound like a plan for the next few months:

(IS) Zeus
(Clan) Timberwolf/Mad Cat, all versions
(IS) Centurion
(Clan) Mad Dog/Vulture, all versions
(IS) Wolfhound
(Clan) Warhawk/Masakari

Folks,

Comment, please. If we don't get enough interest, then the initiative will show it's not worth persisting with. Which I would find sad.

Remember, this isn't "post your new work". This is "post your collection items".

Quick question - who'd approve of swapping Dragon in for Wolfhound? Who'd be upset?

There's more sculpts, and more variants, on the Dragon, and it's in the stock intro set. Looking for a show of voices.

I have painted a Wolfhound recently, but I haven't any Dragon.

I have a Centurion too, but not the other mechs. I have several Commando, Jenner or Trebuchet. And a Warhawk in blister.
