Question regarding the 4th, 6th and 8th Sword of Light

Morning!  I am doing a little history research on the 8th Sword of Light when I noticed something in the First Succession War book.

Per the First Succession War, the 6th and 8th Sword of Light were formed after the start of the First Succession War while the 4th was disbanded just prior to the war.

So my question is, was the 4th Sword of Light disbanded to fill the ranks of the 6th and 8th?  Or did the 4th disband due to some unknown conflict prior to the First Succession War which makes the 6th and 8th brand new units entirely?  Thanks!

There was a lot of shell games with the Sword of Light during the Succession Wars, so any of the above are possible.
Don't worry, the 4th will be back during the Second Succession War...briefly.

Well, my main interest is the history of the 8th.  Looks like they made their debut with the First Battle of Hesperus II in 2787 and have kept going up to the conquest of Robinson in 3144.  I was just seeing if I could trace their lineage back a bit further.
