(Answered) CO - What is TP value?
« on: 15 June 2017, 12:14:41 »
Pg 14 of the Campaign Operations book outlines the generic costs for units, and one of the multipliers is called "TP Value" and it is used in the purchase / aquiring of Customized units. I am confused at this term, and have tried looking in the Tech Manual, Strategic Operations, and Tactical Operations and can find no mention of "TP" except when refering to "thrust points" for aerospace units... Does anyone know where I can find information about TP Value.

I tried googling and Sarna, and the only references other than aerospace have to do with AToW and something about quirks, which in this instance I don't think apply. I'm trying to find out how much I need to pay for a "Customized" battlemech in the campaign.

It means, "Trait Points." See ATOW p. 106 for a discussion of characters' traits like "Custom Vehicle."
