The Undead Lance!

I was not sure if I should put this here on in the miniatures forum, but I decided the question was more about fluff than about painting or miniatures so....

I ran across a box set labeled "The Undead Lance" with four themed mechs (Exhumer EXR-2X, Cadaver CVR-A1, Gravedigger GDR-1C / 1D, and Mortis MS-1P).  Looking up the name, I found some photos of their paint scheme and a (very) brief write up on Sarna.net with the pilot names and mechs listed, but not much more. 

So, I was wondering just who these guys are?  Are they a mercenary unit?  Pirates?  Criminals?  A Solaris team?  Something else all together? 

Any info is welcome!

Nah, the A-Team where not psycho murders . . . I can see where it got lifted, I mean like I said its pretty much the Four Horseman.

Did something get deleted?  I got a notification last night which had a link to a post with some nice additional information on these guys, but when I logged on today to thank the poster its gone!   :'(

I think there was a MWDA box of clicky mechs for these guys, but I picked up the IWM Lance box.

Their bios are available on the CBT site, along with all the other MWDA uniques.

In short, they were a group of criminals who were busted out of a maximum security Republic prison (on a moon at that!) by an unknown benefactor. Given a quartet of new BattleMechs by said benefactor, they turned mercenary. It also goes without saying that they're not nice people

I wrote the very brief write up on sarna as a generic product article for the MW:Da box set. I intended to write something a bit more use for an in universe role playing perspective but beyond what is on those dossiers that Deadborder has posted there is little to no information about the MW:DA characters and the IWM Lance box has no official indication that I am aware of that says it is the same "Undead Lance" (not sure if there is any box fluff or anything?).
