I have started undertaking a series of reviews of BattleTech products, which focuses on both stand alone products and series, like the Objectives or X-TRO's.

Series Reviews:
Jihad Field Reports
http://www.ourbattletech.com/2012/product-review-field-reports/
Objectives Series:
http://www.ourbattletech.com/2013/battletech-product-review-objectives/

Product Reviews:

http://www.ourbattletech.com/2012/interstellar-players-3-interstellar-expeditions/
Total Chaos
http://www.ourbattletech.com/2012/product-review-total-chaos/

I hope you enjoy my examination of the various releases for BattleTech that I take a look at..

I will be adding new series reviews about once a week in addition to reviewing new BT products as they are released.

Dedicated to committing viciously gratuitous bastardy of the first order.

Unofficial LD for 2 seconds - It was a glorious moment!

"They can bring it. We fought off an army of guys who wore 20 pound decorative brass shoulder pauldrons. I'm not afraid of the Disney Land mascot brigade" - MadCapellan, in reference to the Confederation possibly facing the Clans.

Nice Review Blacknova, I'm not a massive fan of the Field Reports purely because FM: Update came out at the same time/just after them but there not bad products in themselves.

I think these would have been better published DA era personally let Updates cover the post-Jihad era and send the Field Reports into the next era but that's me
My three main Alternate Timeline with Thanks fan-fiction threads are in the links below. I'm always open to suggestions or additions to be incorporated so if you feel you wish to add something feel free. There's non-canon units, equipment, people, events, erm... Solar Systems spread throughout so please enjoy

Fair point DC and something I should have disscussed a little more. However, I feel that 3085 and the FR series complement each other, one looks forwad and the other back from a similar time.  This provides both a historical summary and perspective as well as a place of reference going forward.

Kit I apologize, I cut and pasted your name from the credits, or are you referring to the apostrophe?

It's supposed to be a prime symbol, but usually an apostrophe has to do. I've finally gotten Herb to stop worrying about it and embrace it.

Fair enough, but why the Prime symbol?

second nice review mostly enjoyed ISP3 except for the Rimward section which was a bit dry, would have loved McEvedy's Folly to be in it

With the season of insanity now passed, here is the next review:

Objectives Series:
http://www.ourbattletech.com/2013/battletech-product-review-objectives/

The review following this is non-BT, but still Catalyst, so I suppose that counts.
