(Answered) Narrow/Low-Profile Design Quirks question ...
« on: 23 February 2012, 16:31:37 »
SO p.195 states, "Ranged attacks against a unit with a Narrow/Low Profile receive a +1 to-hit modifier." but I don't see where the use of the phrase "ranged attack" is defined; soooo .... what constitutes a "ranged attack"?

thanks!

Anything that is not a Physical Attack and is a direct line of site weapon. Laser, Ballistic, etc.

Artillery is not ranged.
LRMs firing indirect are not ranged.
Axes are not ranged
Punches are not ranged.

PPCs are ranged.
LRMs are ranged
Lasers are ranged.
