Some newish stuff
« on: 15 November 2017, 11:30:36 »
I have not posted anything here in a very long time but lately I have been going back and painting, or re-painting a lot of unfinished or partly finished stuff from my collection. I've also picked up some Alpha Strike plastic sets and added them into the mix. This group can be used for pretty much any generic mercs or whatever. All the plastics are re-based on plastic hex bases.

Very nice work indeed! The Ghosts are impressive, but the desert company won my heart. great mix of old- and new-school minis.

These are awesome! I love the crab portrait on the King Crab, but I’ve gotta know. Is the one of the new Wasp miniatures we can’t get right now?

Correct.  That's the on hold Wasp.

All quality stuff.

What is the base color for the first group of mechs?  It is a kind of khaki.

Looks great. I wish I had the balls to paint some ghosts, but my freehand-fu is not strong like yours.

This.  I love topical minis where additions look natural.  Well done.

The base color for the desert guys is a very light tan. I think I used Vallejo ModelAir Radome Tan.
