I'll second the thunderbolt NAIS.  It was one of those that was tossed into the archive almost as soon as it was released.

Can I third that motion, and vote for it now!   ???

i say tbolt nais, for a selfish reason; i didn't even know it existed until i saw it in the archives

Tbolt NAIS is not a bad option...

My list of archive desirable archival return items:

Crossbow Omni 20-911 (I do not own)
Savage Coyote 20-960 (same)
Piranha 20-676 (one of the best second liners, for pure insanity sake, and I do not own...)
Merlin 20-916 (the mech, I do not own, and sometime ugly just needs to be loved...)

i'm actually surprised the stooping hawk was archived, sure it's limited for faction availability (for those who subscribe to that), but it was a nice mini, and a decent mech. i definitely agree with you on this one, and the tbolt nais, good catch Col

and yes it would be nice to see the stooping hawk come out of the archives, it's a great mech with a awesome mini and I would definitely like a second, or course I'm a little biased here ;D

I may be harping on the Crossbow Omni, but its a beautiful looking mech, and for those that follow faction availability (I do when I paint my mechs...) its used by ten or twelve clans. That's good, and it means I'd likely get myself at least 3 (wait lets see... Snow Raven, Jade Falcon, Wolf, Ghost Bear, Nova Cat... ok I could get a stars worth!)

the crossbow is decent, i just don;t think it'll get many votes, i love the thing to death, but i think a lot of people will look to other heavy omnis to get their fix

Here is the problem with the crossbow omni and also the battlecobra...all the weapons are in the arms. Great arcs of fire and ease of repair but it also makes it vulnerable. If its up there i might vote for it but would rather have a few of the non omni crossbows to throw in my Lyran forces.

I would say more TRO 3085 units, should some be left. It's a shame that so many of the already available units for the current TRO are only available through the archive.

on frp (not necessarily reliable, but has been good in the past), it looks like the blade my be getting an upgraded sculpt, whether that's completely resculpted or just new parts is up for debate, but it's conceivable that other 3085 mech like the blade timber wold etc could be getting a sort of 're-release' in the future

Can you link us this information(or PM if needed)? It seems odd that IWM would un-archive a 'mech when a new sculpt was about to come out.

that's the one. again, it's only one mech, but that leaves the possibility that this policy will carry over to others

May's poll is just about done...time for suggestions for June!!!
Here is a short list of some minis to consider taking out of the archives, and the reason why:

Quickdraw 20-872: iconic 3025 mech
Longbow 20-681: mini is closer to 3025-era than project phoenix mini
Starslayer 20-673: iconic 3058 mech
Menshen 20-941: iconic Capellan mech
Perseus 20-913: useful (and common?) 3067 mech
Razorback 20-241: iconic 3067 mech
Thunderbolt NAIS BT-136: one of the best variants of reseen TDRs!
Savannah Master 20-828: common early-era vee
Congress 20-157: I don't have one!
Essex 20-192: I don't have one!
Kimagure 20-198: I don't have one!

...and that's probably enough for now.

Here's another vote for the Thunderbolt NAIS and the old Longbow.
I doubt you'll get much traction with the Men Shen, because it is in one of the new Laio boxes.  I would buy another if it came out of archive though.

why the men shen wouldn't come out of the archives when the mold is clearly being used is silly, and that goes for the others. i suppose they really just want to sell the boxed sets. personally i would love the helios with new legs, but i don't want to buy a whole box to get it.

why upgrade the whole thing when the arm is the only thing that needs a redo?

The blade arm is a little small to have a big RAC on it. I saw a blade this past weekend . Nahurus was using it and that right arm is small.

Never bothered with the Blade, between no paint schemes for the Republic and the fact that the original configuration left me "Meh" compared tot he Legionairre, I just never bothered picking one up.

I have one. Lessee...

I think it could work. It's noticeably shorter than the original arm by about 4mm, but it's about 30% wider at the muzzle, and so still looks good. Moreover, the tubelike projection under the RAC is perfect for one of the ERMLs, requiring only that you kitbash a second laser on the other side. I don't know how big the Cygnus's ammo feed is, but that piece might work here too.

A word of warning. Those weird tubes sticking out the Blade's back? Those are a true pain to put in. Not difficult, but really annoying. Aside from that, It's a really easy mini to work with. If my RAC arm weren't already slated for a Schwerer Gustav attempt, I'd try to upgrade my Blade with it.

Never bothered with the Blade, between no paint schemes for the Republic and the fact that the original configuration left me "Meh" compared tot he Legionairre, I just never bothered picking one up.

Only used it once so far in combat, but I like it, a good strike 'mech. The only weakness it has is having the armor of the light 'mech it is, but packing the firepower of a medium. You CANNOT let that firepower go to your head, or you'll get the 'mech shot out from under you.

[Edit] Here's a couple quick and dirty photos to show the size comparison.
