For what it's worth, if I had the money I'd thrown down for a resculpted Thunder, preferrably one with an alternate arm for the Arrow IV version. One of my favorite Mechs when I was learning the game, and still fun to use even with it's flaws.
Its an absolutely brutal mech for its day, and just gets better with precision ammo. Its quite competitive in the modern era, and the ammo brews up less on me than it does with the Lao Hu. I have tried for
years, however, to find a better AC and haven't really liked how any of them looked.
