Archive timing

Quick question for the good folks at IWM.

When is it decided to move a sculpt (or sculpts) from the catalog to the archive?

If I recall, someone said they go into archive if they don't sell a certain number in a year. I heard it was 12, but that seems a little low.

I've heard the same thing.  My question was when that occurrs.  January?  End of the fiscal year?  4th Sunday after the 5th new moon?

Last year they announced it in February and it was done in March.
I can't remember any announcement or archiving this year.

I think some, at least, are a case-by-case basis. Witness the NAIS T-Bolt, which was went almost direct to archive after release.

Timing probably has a lot more to do with the need for storage space than anything calendar related.
