Go for the Grigori. I'm still debating whether or not to split my wall of text into smaller articles and if so, how to do it.

Article is up.  Sorry about the delay.  Had a lousy day at work yesterday and decided to go out afterwards.

No need to appologise Fire :) I'm gonna work on the Commando this week too so we'll have that ready.  Lots of variants for the lil thing :)

To paraphrase Napoleon, after a good day at work, you deserve to go out. After a bad day at work, you need to go out.

Good luck with that.  There are quote a few variants of the Commando out there.  Funny enough, the one with the Large Laser they included in HBS game is one I don't think I ever have seen on the table and completely forgotten about until it started lighting up my forces in the first few games.

As most people have enjoyed the article and not ripped it to shreds I'd be happy to cover the last two Celestials.  I can try and have another done this week or bow out for anyone else that wants or would like to do one.

I'll step in and throw the Commando at the board this Friday week :)  Gives you a break and less pressure that way :)

I'll also put the Commando IIC in the Commando article, its basically a variant of the Commando and is its brother from another mother. No point in writing a MoTW about the Commy IIC as its a single machine type, so might as well put it in there too.

After some thought and a rereading, the wall-'o-text article has been split in two. Part one is slimmed down to 2400 words, and Part two is 2100 words. I can fit those in whenever in the schedule, although it's probably best to keep them close by.

Finished the Diomede article a bit earlier than expected, so rather than sit on it until tomorrow, the inaugural WorkMech Wednesday's going to be a bit early for some this week.

Perfectly timed for this hemisphere. Not my fault you Yankees are running late ;)

And nice article, Gio ... I gotta kitbash one of them these days, to go with my complete collection of Dig Lords. And on that note ... mind covering that family next? Include the bitsy MiningMech in with it, if you don't mind.

Got an outstanding request for the Hyena I'll probably do next week, but I'll add them in for the week after. :)

Seeing as my Penetrator article is basically complete, I'm thinking I'd like to have a crack at the Nexus and Nexus II next...

Go for it Getz :)  The Nexii evolved from the lemon that was the Jackrabbit into a nice lil family of Mechs, I'm sure it will be a great article :)

I should have the Commando up at some point today, just working on final points and editing.

Hi there,

Marauder648's article on the Commando kind of got me inspired, so I was wondering... is there any vacancy in the MOTW schedule? ;D

Sure, there's always room for more. There's only two real requirements around here, 1) Check the Fan Article Directory Thread here to make sure the 'Mech you want hasn't been done recently and 2) check the MUL to make sure you don't miss any variants.

As for a particular date, there's a few articles written and waiting, but I don't think any order has been set right now. Here's what I see as finished & waiting to post:

Wantec - Mystery Mega Article, Parts 1 & 2
Getz - Penetrator
Firesproket - 2x Celestials (possibly finished, I forget which ones)

Any others I'm missing?

I have yet to work on any additional writing.  It is has been a busy month at work.  On top of that my parents are moving next week and I am helping them out over the weekend get smaller items packed.  I probably won't have another opportunity to work on writing again until the holiday weekend.  The small amount of downtime I have has been sucked away with the beta.

edit: decided to remove draft from public view  ::)

Well I had the Panther article planned out already, so it was quickly done. Rather long though, as there are 13 variants to cover. Ready to publish whenever... just give the word.

I've been off the ball on writing so I have nothing ready, but the Shrike can be made ready in the span of a week when my turn comes (and since there are others more ready, it needen't come overly soon).  As for the Scorpions, I'm trying to save my pennies to buy up some material I don't have, and pennies are scarcer than I wish they were, so that one won't probably be avalable till fall at best.

Is there an updated schedule/reservation list somewhere?  I've been following the thread but have lost track completely of who's doing what when and which other articles people have sitting in the tubes reward to launch.
