Wrangler, I have to admit it's late, but I honestly can't decipher what you're saying. Could you give it another try?
Sorry about that, Adrian.  I have trouble expressing myself properly sometimes.

I was hoping there was going be Era Digest or Era Reports for the Early Succession Wars and Late Succession Wars time periods (with Warchest/Chaos Campaign/scenario tracks & individual (not regiment sized units).

Third and Fourth Succession Wars would be nice see something.

I prefer seeing something pushing the time line forward, but this maybe arguably the last time these time periods would get some attention get chance to have modern/update scenarios for players who are playing in both these time periods.

Hmm... that's actually an interesting point.  I mean, advancing the plot has never really taken anthing away from past events, but it would be nice to have all of our ducks, historical or otherwise, in a row before we take a leap into a strange new era.

Maybe, but I am still a bit sad that the Leviathan didn't get its own art.

But anyway, the Orion is great, when fan financing restarts I will vote for it.

I'd have liked to see something special for the long lost JumpShip too

That makes me happy. Still would love to see a TRO: What could of Been. All the designs that didn't make it off the drawing board...at least had a good chance of making it.

We already have that. It's the Fan Designs subforum. ;)

Stuff that was planned but never entered standard production?

More of like stuff that would of made it to proto type but for some reason didn't. I was thinking of stuff like the DCMS Yamato and the Kaga.

How else are we going to field period accurate boulder-chucking steam cannons and lacquered wood armor?

Liked the primitive Wolverine and Orion.  Dug the specs on the Archer, but trying to decide if I like the art or not.  The Trooper and Leviathan are awesome.

I love the Orion art.

The perspective used makes the Wolverine's pose seem odd to me. I also notice that it includes the 3R's missile launcher, which is fine, but I hope the eventual mini makes it a separate piece.

That latest Primitives release has reminded me of one primitive grade 'Mech we don't have, though it probably has to be a retrotech downgrade. That Hammerhands Primitive New Hessen was making as per Jihad Hotspots: 3076 and Objectives: Federated Suns.

Very happy boy right now.

If I'm feeling squirrelly and you're particularly good boys and girls, I may post some teasers.

Are these set in the same timeframe as the combat manuals or do they cover details up to the dark age? Assuming they are not dead by then.

They will cover multiple timeframes, it will vary depending on the unit and individual publication. This first one will cover 3039, Jihad, Dark Age (with the history section covering the unit's entire history).
