'Mech-scale infantry miniature question
« on: 01 April 2011, 22:05:34 »
I've recently jumped headlong into Battletech after a long absence, and have started looking at options I never considered using before (AeroSpace fighters, DropShips, and infantry). I was wondering, as a loyal Lyran since BT Second Edition, which of the two 'Mech-scale infantry packs (Davion and, in the archives, Kurita) would work best to simulate Lyran troops--assuming the Lyran/Steiner infantry from TRO:3085 doesn't get produced before I decide to add footsoldiers to my army?

Davion, because since they started working with the real Kat back in the 3020's, they've shared gear. So in the Fedcom era there were probably quite a few Lyran infantry equipped with Davion gear.

Lyrans also generally have open-faced helmets so it works for that reason too.

Personally, I think the Kurita looks cooler.
