Search Features on IWM online store

I'm sure I'm doing something wrong, but when I look a mini up on CamoPecs and want to buy it, I go to IWN Online Store and all I get is "there is no product matching the search criteria"

This happens to me all the time. Most products I can then find by browsing through different sections. However I see a new Stinger Mk I LAM that I really really want a couple of ( and I swear I've seen pics of a Wasp Mk I that's a dream come true ) but I can't find them anywhere.

Are these Kickstarter projects?

And that still doesn't tell me what I'm doing wrong on the search engine with other products I've looked for.

The LAMs are not out yet, only those who were part of the kickstarter have theirs so far.

As for other searches, can you give a specific example of a mini you searched for, and what precisely you typed into the search box? It might have been a case of misspelling, or somesuch.

Sorry for the typical tech support answer, but make sure the word you are searching for is spelled correctly. The IWM site will not give you the Google "did you mean ______?" response. Also, I keep my search words as general as possible. So if I'm searching for one of the umpteen marauder sculpts, I will just search for "Marauder" and pick the specific one I'm looking for from the results. Keep in mind that IWM produces minis for various other game systems so searching for "Black Knight" will most likely result in some actual knight minis aside from the BT Black Knight you are looking for. Hope this helps.

The link from Camospecs to the IWM page is added automatically. It triggers the IWM search function, feeding it the name of the Mech. Products not available directly from IWM (yet) produce the result you describe. Or keywords not matching the tags IWM uses on their store. This is unfortunate, but since this is added automatically without knowing if the product (or matching keyword) actually exists there is nothing we can do about it (except omitting the link everywhere). But this is also one of the reasons why we usually note in the description when a miniature has been modified.

The Kickstarter LAMs are miniatures not available from IWM directly at the moment. That's why your search doesn't net any results. Sorry for the inconvenience, but I hope you agree that it is better to have a link to a search that gets results 90% of the time than no cross-linking at all. Maybe we can find a more user friendly way with the next iteration of the Camospecs website.

what I usually do, funny enough, is go to Camospecs and find the 'mech or mini I want and then click on the link redirecting to IWM.
