Too slow.  It's a deluxe Urbanmech.
I'll have to go through the TROs for some lights with similar performance as the P-Hawk.

They range in size from 20cm to 3m and have habitats mostly in the forests, mountains, and seacoasts. They feed on a variety of prey including insects, fish, rodents, small herbivores, or other dreigiau. There are also several amphibious and marine varieties that that can be as large as 18m.

A lot 30 to 40 ton Mechs will move as fast if not faster then a P-Hawk. 6 / 9 / 6 was fast for 3025 but 3050 and up that's avrage. Just have to worry about the XL engine. And the cost

It would have to be captured as an egg and raised as if you were its mother.  That, or you'd have to visit a pet store.

I wonder if the Diamond Sharks have a salvaged Phoenix Hawk that they might be willing to sell inexpensively.

Some species are raised and used similarly to falcon and hawks for hunting
Pets not so much, and they are neither songbirds or mimics

At this time the Diamond Sharks do not have any salvage units on world. They do have some surplus units for sale.

Metal Storm has a list of units for sale also.

Nothing on Metal Storm's list was useful to me.  I'd like to see the Diamond Shark's list.

My good sir you have not seen Metal Storms list yet. They do change up the inventory so next week you along with the others get to see all the new toys.
Same goes for the Diamond Sharks.

The last mission netted someone that was in the area were the live fire demo was going on.

That person has pointed to this area near Fukuda as a camp area.

Your orders are to look around to see just what may be going on here.

Mercs you are to pull 3 units from your command. 1 Mech, 1 Armor and 1 Infantry.

The area is wooded with a small river running through it and has some roads.

Major Cranson,

In reference to your request, I have arranged a meeting for you with Cultural Wavefinders. They are a firm that specializes in helping individuals, and organizations cope with cultural differences, and liaise with people of diverse cultures to ensure successful negotiations of social and financial matters. Their advisers and cultural awareness trainers foster clear communications between parties, facilitate respectful and effective interaction, and mitigate cultural friction through resources and training. They provide region specific linguistic and sociocultural information, and advice to individuals, businesses, and organizations. They commonly focus their operations at the Spaceport and Enclave, but the Governor has hired them to provide advise and solutions to end the protests at Camp Maru. The company is highly respected and would serve admirably for your personal, and also, your organization's various needs. If you need any assistance with contracts, or have any other questions or concerns, do not hesitate to contact me. I have arranged a brunch meeting for you with Dr. Nainoa Thompson, the team lead, on Sunday at Jade House in Fuzhou, Yousai.

MAWs The Basic School Welcome Package

3067 December 2

Miyamoto Musashi

Congratulations on your selection as an Officer candidate at The Basic School. The Basic School trains and educates newly commissioned or appointed candidates in the high standards of professional knowledge, esprit de corps, and leadership to prepare them for duty as company grade Officers in the operating forces, with particular emphasis on the duties, responsibilities, and warfighting skills required of a commander. The Basic School course focuses on five horizontal themes that define expectations of all Officers.

                                                          1. A person of exemplary character
                                                          2. Devotion to leadership
                                                          3. An ability to decide, communicate, and act in the fog of war
                                                          4. A warfighter who embraces the warrior ethos
                                                          5. Mentally strong and physically tough

Throughout the course the universal concept that Officers must be able to assess situations, weigh the pros and cons of various decisions, make a decision, develop a plan, communicate that plan effectively, and supervise its execution is stressed. The course will teach the science and art required for service as an Officer with an emphasis on decision making. Since all candidates are evaluated on leadership as an Officer, physical, mental, and emotional stress are incorporated throughout the course in order to evaluate the ability to lead in chaotic and stressful environments. Some individuals will be pushed close to their failing point, but TBS is designed to give candidates an opportunity to display positive leadership qualities in the face of adversity.

All candidates must review and show completion of the following courses on MAWS.net before your TBS session begins

Jim, I checked the Techmanual about the salvage we got from the Striker turret.  We get 100k for the LRM 10 and 80k from the SRM 6 (for a grand total of 180k), giving each of us 90k in salvage from today's game.
