I agree with what Weirdo said in the question thread: "My ideal would be the second art pic from the waist down, and the third art pic from the waist up". I'm in for $300.

Edit: Now that I think about it, just chop the projections at the top of the leg so that the mech can run, and the bottom from the third pic is fine too.

You guys are doing a lot to shake me up. During the poling I was like; Highlander? Justice demands that, but Meh. Flashman? WHy I have four already. but now it's like; "Well, I'll only have to replace two highlanders...and four Flashmen."

Flash*mans*...Uses the same plural, right? Flash*men*?

Anyhoo, put me down for $50

The hour when earth's foundations fled,         They stood, and earth's foundations stay;
Followed their mercenary calling,               What God abandoned, these defended,
And took their wages, and are dead.             And saved the sum of things for pay.

Ah, excellent timing!  I'll front $150.

The current mini is awful, with unreasonable arms and those ridiculous things extending off the top of the legs.  The middle art pic has reasonable legs and arms. All it needs is a laser for the center torso and maybe something to suggest the AMS and.

Agree with this.  I'm in for $75.   Maybe more if I things work out this week.

I'd be happy from the middle art from TRO:3025 Revisited. But if IAMCLANWOLF and B3 do what they did for the Highlander and use a mix of inspirational sources to achieve and awesome end piece, then I would be happy with that as well. Put me down for $25 since I will also be funding the Red Reaper when that one finally comes up.

Isn't the middle one for the 7K? The other two are the 8K.

I like the torso, arms, upper legs (minus the widgets that stick out the back), lower legs (minus the back bell bottom Jump Jet looking things) and feet of art #2 and hips of art #3 (nicer details and no weird phallic box on the front).  However, I'd like to suggest a departure from the boxy shapes that only occur in the legs on #3 and do the legs with rounded surfaces like the rest of the Mech.  I'll do a quick sketch to illustrate later today.

I note that #2 does not include the CT large laser, clearly visible in #3. Is it showing a different model?

#2 is the 7K I believe, which only has LL's in each arm

I'm looking into what I can toss at this baby.  Probably won't be a ton but I'll check things out tonight and see

Just like the Highlander, the Flashman orthos will be a combination of the best elements from all current [canon] art.

The legs are going to be a challenge, but should be a fun one.

Those fins off the hip have to be one of the most annoying things (to me) on the miniature next to maybe how the current miniature's arms work (or don't)

At first B-3, I was gonna say I didn't mind the boxy legs but now that I see your rendering I do like the rounded legs better.

Of all the artwork; I think this leg looks the most capable of actual RL locomotion.

Digitigrade, but still needs some refining.

I didn't expect it, but I really dig the new legs. Nice work, man! O0
(1000 "thank you"s for fixing the stupid stick-ankles from pictures 1 & 3.)

I'm going to throw out another plug to keep the cockpit windows packed close together, as in picture 3.

Please also include the CT laser from picture 3 (or an easy way to add it), so we can field the classic SLDF version.

Do these things for me, and you'll be my hero all over again. :D

ETA: Actually, another minor detail is the hole for the zippo flamer that appears in the SLDF model. I think it's above the cockpit in pic 3.

I'd like to add the possibility of variant bits to this discussion.  I can put together a price for parts if I can get a solid list of what is needed to do these:

So... looks like various torso bits for lasers, an AMS mount, and alternate arms for the Heavy PPCs?

I don't think I'd change the ferro glass for the small cockpit on the 9B (if it were up to me).

I'll have to see if the wife can free up a few bucks.

B-3 the alternate parts look great. I'm not sure about the legs in that pic though. I would prefer the ones from your rough draft.

The torso sure blossomed out and became more bulbous in Lewis' renderings there  ???

Also agree with IAMCLANWOLF that the cockpit should be broken up a little more

Personally I prefer the blocky legs. I suspect for variant, just having the four port AMS being a separate piece would be sufficient. I am assuming recessed (AKA drilled) lasers. If not, maybe simple glue on like the Pariah's jump jets.
