Hi, TechManul has a system for determining the Clan availability ratings for items that were created in the Star League (basically X for the first, the second value uses the Star League availability rating, and if its military, the rating is modified, etc etc.)
The mail question is the Clan Extinction ratings. TechManual states "If a listed item has a Clan Extinction Year that falls within the period, the Availability Code must be increased by 2 letter grades and any ratings for periods after that era automatically receive a value of F."
Does this still apply for the Dark Age era? So if the standard autocannon went extinct in the 2800's, the availability code for the Clan Invaison Era would be boosted up to F, and then would the Dark Age era also be F, or would it finally go to X?
