Newest stable version of MegaMek/Lab/HQ...
« on: 26 December 2017, 13:30:10 »
The version I downloaded (version 43.3, I think it was) keeps making my hoppy mechs crash and burn through buildings.  lol

Is there a newer (or older) stable release that doesn't do this?  Thanks.   :)

The MM devs are working on getting a new stable ready though not sure when. The hope iirc was by end of the year but as with any programming gig fix one bug and another one (or two) appears. I don't remember what version the previous stable before that one was.

The bug in question though is one of buttons. If you use the climb mode button you should be able to avoid those cartoony building jumps.

Ah... climb mode, eh?  I didn't think to try that.  Anyway, many thanks for the info.

Also the current development releases (0.43.6) are pretty stable.  You can run multiple versions of Megamek just keep them in separate folders.

Hm- alrighty.  Maybe I'll play around with a development release, then.  Thanks, Hammer.

The last stable was 0.42.2, although the identifier incorrectly calls itself 0.42.3.
