I think that rainbow of glass is a very doable way of representing a viewport for a bridge (or observation deck, depending on whether your headcanon puts a bridge anywhere near the vacuum of space). Plog's work is great, and I'll definitely take it over the "dorsal instead of nose is up" architecture prevalent in FASA era artwork.
