Okay. While I like the novelization, I have one question:

What kind of voice does each character have? If you can equate them to particular actors/actresses, that'd help.

For some reason, I couldn't help think of Count Dooku/Saruman when reading Althalus. Is that close? What about the others?

Thanks.

That's hard - I hear them in the voices of the players.

Althalus tends to be broody and deep - like Josh Brolin.
Galinndan makes me think of Gilbert Godfrey only younger.
Theren is a lot like Mark Ruffalo
Arius is Chris Pine-ish.
Bor - is Bor.  Bor-Smash.

I'll leave you with the Apple review.  All Apple reviews read like this:

You suck.
However you did not suck as bad as you could have sucked.
Try to suck less

Hmm, reminds me of the last time I had a job that had performance reviews.

I loved the part where we were graded on A) the dress code we were explicitly told wasn't actually a thing (and that the supervisors very obviously didn't follow) and B) how many phone calls we answered over a week, which was automatically zero because our department handled customer service emails and the phones at our desks weren't activated because it wasn't our jobs!

I'm glad I no longer work there.

I work at a reasonably small company and we don't really do performance reviews. It's small enough that the people who need to know how you are performing already do. However, I actually had one guy ASK me to give him a performance review! I guess he was worried if he was meeting expectations or something like that, but it was the first and only time I've ever actually had someone request a performance review. He didn't even ask for a raise or anything! It was weird.

I hope the 'Sand People' in your setting actually do something more with sand, rather than being a nebulous alien species that lives in the desert.

I wonder where our heroes areā€¦

They were never there.  Lindbergh looks better than current celebrities because he lived in an age where things like martial infidelity and embarrassing political views were swept under the rug instead of being pointed out.

I have to agree with this.  Humanity suffers from "the nostalgia effect".  We tend to forget the bad aspects of "the good old days" and only remember what we find pleasing.  I recommend the book "The Good Old Days-They were terrible!"

His views were very close to Henry Ford who is also considered a hero though he's not
