Shady NPC's
« on: 25 September 2016, 20:05:03 »
Howdy Folks.

Has anybody made a shady npc that your players have wanted to dismember, maim, kill, etc. but can't because they need that particular npc ?? Example: Mr. Askai.

Please provide char gen details.

Thx, Deathknight69

If you think about it, the perfect merc lives long enough to complete the objective, but not long enough to get paid.
Well, there's an Obi-Wan level point of view comment for you ...  xp

One idea would be someone with all sorts of sleazy disadvantages, but so many contacts that if the players do anything to him there will be so many problems as a result it will never be worth it.

The sleazy contact will have links to the Black Market, military contract markets, military suppliers, local government, thieves' guild, various transportation guilds, industrial owners, Comstar and WoB contacts, local spies from all Houses, etc.

ATOW Companion has a couple good "high level NPCs". In particular - the godfather.
He's amazingly well connected and has his own organisation.
He's worth dealing with because of his pull, power and wealth.
But of course, if he does you a favour he'll expect something in return...
