IS Technology Question Circa 3030 - 3039

Does IS technology support induced sleep for long space journeys or even such things as short term cryo sleep? RPG purposes.

Canonical stasis tubes are in the Handbook: Major Periphery states, p.185. Around the mentioned time they are kinda lost-tech.

Seems to me that even when BT has cryo pods, they're unreliable at best. (Basically the universe is stacked against the idea of cryo sleep.)
Early fiction indicated they were common (eg used for transporting wounded) but that was dropped pretty quickly.
