Here is the first part of what will eventually be a company (maybe a few more). I did these ones up early for an event game at Anime North in Toronto.
The Classic Shadow Hawk is a fantastic sculpt and a complete pleasure to paint up. I'm looking forward to getting more of these classics. The Imp is actually the second 'mech I ever owned, getting it on Christmas morning in 1994. This one took a lot of work, but after stripping the streaky Testors yellow paint and resculpting a few of the details on the top of the head, I'm pretty happy with the results. Quite an improvement in my opinion.
These are all plastic models from the most recent box set. I'm sad that these are disappearing as they were great at helping to fill out companies of early era 'mechs and are super easy to modify. I have tons of these mixed into my collection and with a bit of work I find they stand up well to the pewter figures and would be indistinguishable to anyone who didn't actually pick the model up.
