Overview
The first ship built, or more accurately modified, to this specification is the Stormchaser operated by the Shadow Guard Mercenary Command.   While modified at a Free Worlds League Shipyard the design has not been accepted by the FWL.  The Stormchaser is at its core a modified League II-class Destroyer as a result

Capabilities
The Stormchaser modification of the League II-class Destroyer is capable of up to 3G of acceleration and while the original design had troubles with power allocation this rebuilt vessel had no such problems with upgraded and rebuilt engines and heat dispensation systems.
While the original design relied on DropShuttle Bays to launch all of their carried craft the Stormchaser MOD takes advantage of DropShip Collars to carry four modern DropShips.  Alongside these four vessels are twenty-four aerospace fighters, twelve Small Craft, and thirty-six battle armoured troopers.  Because of the limitations of the old League design these troopers are unable to operate within the Destroyer.
When it was found in the Spirit system the Stormchaser's hull had been completely stripped of all weapons which meant that the Loyalty Shipyards needed to completely redesign the weapons array of the destroyer.  From the ground up the designers built in six Medium Naval Gauss Rifles, two Light Naval Gauss Rifles, sixteen class 45 Naval Lasers and sixteen class 10 Naval Autocannons.  For anti fighter operations the Stormchaser has thirty-two Extended Range Large Lasers and four Barracuda Capital Missile Launchers while forty-eight Anti-Missile Systems and five hundred-and-twenty-eight tons or Ferro Lamellor Armour protect the vessel.

Deployment
Only a single vessel of this configuration exists and is under the employ of the Shadow Guard Mercenary Command.  Thus far the FWL have been using the Stormchaser as a prototype for what could be a new class of WarShip deployed by the Free Worlds League however there has been no word of the FWL Government agreeing to find more vessels.
