3D files on sarna

I'm wondering if the files on this page http://www.sarna.net/files/media/3d_models/ are safe to download. Has anybody tried these out on 3D printer, if so how did it work out?

They are the classic models of the battlemechs we have, and some of them are missing parts for some reason when you use the newer 3D programs.
you'd have to fix them.
