This thread is for all rules issues and problems with the most recent version of the BattleTech Introductory Boxed Set, released in March of 2014.

The Record sheet for the Loki A Variant.  The right arm critical slot should display an  Ultra AC 5 and Ammo; instead, it lists an ER PPC.

The Hunchback Record sheet has AC10 tucked into the AC20 grouping.

On page 32, LOS example:

The scenario states that 'Mechs A and B belong to player 1 at the beginning, but as the scenario progresses, Player 1 ends up targeting both 'Mechs B and C.

Between page 55 and 56:

Page 55 ends mid-sentence in an example scenario and page 56 starts in the middle of discussing heat buildup.

Page 55: Unit displacement

Page 55 ends mid sentence with an example of displacement "If the..."
Then when we turn to page 56, It is into the topic of Heat.

Initially I thought there could be a page of content missing, but maybe this was the last sentence of this topic and it's just cut off.

P. 54 Introductory Rulebook

Problem: In http://bg.battletech.com/forums/index.php?topic=55599.0 it has been ruled, that a 'Mech that falls due to an unsuccessful DFA attack takes damage to it's back, but still rolls in Facing After Fall Table to determine it's final facing (see answers to questions 2 and 3 in the thread linked above), however the rules still don't reflect it.
Suggestion: Change the paragraph to something like "On an unsuccessful attack, the attacker automatically falls taking damage as though the 'Mech had fallen 2 levels onto its back, regardless of the facing rolled in the Facing After Fall Table (see Falling, p. 28)".

With the replacement of this generation of box sets with the new Beginner and A Game of Armoured Combat boxes, this thread is closed.  We are no longer collecting errata for these products; thank you for reporting issues, as we made many corrections for the new sets.
