Looks great B-3  O0

You are making it difficult for me to resist the urge to be a fundicator for this even against my original misgivings of resculpting what I believe is a perfectly serviceable miniature.

Speaking of fundication, a gratuitous plug for the limited remaining opportunities to be a part of fan funding this marvellous re-sculpt.

"Fundication guarantees citizenship." Want to know more?  :D

Ladies and gentlemen, as noted above B-3 has indicated he can provide the orthos and he can sculpt the bits for the HGN-734 and HGN-738 variants for $350. So here is your once in a lifetime chance to secure your place in the annals of BT history and be a fundicator of these fine pewter miniature armaments.

Thanks BB and Beachhead for posting your pledges and for the PMs to confirm.

So far I have the following pledges for HGN-734 and HGN-738 variants bits (funding target of $350)

Lyran_Rainboom                      $50
Bartholomew bartholomew      $50
The Wayfarer                           $50
beachhead1985                       $50
Klat                                          $150*

* - Klat has pledged to fund the remainder if there are not further pledges.

As B-3 has indicated that he does not urgently need the funds, I will leave the pledging open until 31 May 2015 (I will close it 0001 hrs, 01 Jun 2015 Australian Eastern Standard Time, which is GMT+10h).

So the HGN-734 and HGN-738 variants bits can be considered funded but I will not send out PMs for the money from the fundicators until 01 Jun 2015 (if that is ok with you B-3?) which will give time for Klat to give my cousins from Chinatown a call (they have unique set of skills  >:D ).

It looks like one of the knees is green stuff, but the other one looks like white metal. Did mold and cast the part? Will it be separate in the final version?

I'm interested in how you go about your work.  O0

Likely the reason is that the lower legs and feet are identical, and B-3 just made a copy.  He is kinda awesome like that...

Thanks Fellas, I'm glad you like it!  :D  I did indeed sculpt one leg, shin, foot and upper arm then mold and cast duplicates since they were identical side to side.  The legs will be three separate pieces each.  I try to be efficient and not repeat myself, I try to be efficient and not repeat myself, it saves time and helps the bottom line.  ;)

OK here it is!  51mm tall.  14 pieces: Head, Torso, Hips, Left and Right Upper Arm, Left and Right Lower Arm, Left Hand, Left and Right Upper Leg, Left and Right Lower Leg, Left and Right Foot.

Only thing that I forgot to do is trim off the outer foot actuators.  Imagine them on the inner sides only, they will be in the production version.

WOW so much better than the original mini I am holding and comparing them.  Don't get me wrong its a good mini but this is a major improvement

Thank you to the fundicators of their pledges for HGN-734 and HGN-738 variants bits.

I will send out the emails with payment details tomorrow night. My apologies, I was trying to get to it tonight but had to deal with some other business tonight that came up at short notice.

Epitaph on an Army of Mercenaries

These, in the day when heaven was falling,      Their shoulders held the sky suspended;
The hour when earth's foundations fled,         They stood, and earth's foundations stay;
Followed their mercenary calling,               What God abandoned, these defended,
And took their wages, and are dead.             And saved the sum of things for pay.

OK, I got all of the Highlander Variant fundication and have started sculptifying the bits.   If all goes well and I don't have to replace any more timing chains on any of my cars, I should have these all buttoned up by the end of the week! :D

Fundicator details have been forwarded to speck for issuing of IWM webstore credit vouchers.

I understand that speck is at Origins this week, so I would not expect to see him issue the credit vouchers until some time next week when he has recovered from working the convention, so please be patient.

Once again thank you to all the fundicators for making my job of administering this fundication effort smooth and stress-free. It has been an honour and a priviledge to be a small part in helping turn this idea into a reality.

Sorry, but just an observation, should the front page be updated to show which Highlander sculpts are being done? You really have to dig for a while to figure it out. As far as I can tell, it's the original HGN-732, plus the variants for the HGN-734 & and HGN-738

734

738

I varied from the orthos on the missile racks, just because the 732 rack arrangement was such a bitch to cast.
