Overall I'm liking what I'm seeing in terms of gameplay.
It's not about winning or losing, no it's all about how many chapters have you added to the rule books after your crazy antics.

I couldn't determine if the one medium laser was rearward facing or not.

They stated (I think in their FAQ or another dev Q&A) that there are no rear facing weapons.

looking at this teaser as best i can, looks like lasers suffer slightly from overcorrection, which makes me happy since it means they aren't hyperaccurate surgeon's tools like in older games. that was a worry of mine, since it hampered the utility of every other, slower firing weapon available somewhat.

they also light up like christmas, unlike Autocannon which just flash a moment and cause a nice large explosion on impact, so they're not as useful for surprising people....
The Grey Death Legion? Dead? Gotcha, wake me when it's back.....

I like how the voice-over makes it sound like a military contracting advertisement.

And the meaty wham of autocannons pleases me.

Oddly enough, the Centurion in MWO looks a lot more imposing and "heavier" than the concept art, which itself was much more robust than the original *snicker* Duane Loose art.
