In the "Ask a Writer" thread, I noticed this phrase: "under the description of the University of Washington on Donegal..."

Am I right to assume that this means UW exists in the 31st Century? As a loyal University of Oregon Duck, I'd be horrified to think that there are still Huskies running around 1000 years hence...  :D ;D

To be blunt, there are a lot of little Washington references in Battletech, especially the Lyran Alliance. For example, Mechwarrior Sealth is the notable pilot for the Zeus.

Looks at the thread title, looks at the commentary,  and shrugs.

What is so bad about the Huskies, when I saw the title I was expecting a list of the wrongness that is the great blue marsupial.  I feel disappointed now.
