Well almost anything can be better than either Sups III or IV, but Bionic 6? Really?

But then again, I'd pull out either S1 original Thundercats or the complete original Johnny Quest. Or maybe the ADV dub of Macross...

Watched the latest gibson film Blood father..  Decent action, but other than that, nothing to 'write home about'.

A transvestite character was played by...a transvestite. Sounds like perfect casting to me.

Tim Curry was beyond superb in the original. It would be nearly impossible to cast someone else in that role. This is why you shouldn't try to remake classics.

My fave tim curry role still has to be his Cardinal Richleu from the Three Musketeers with Kiefer sutherland, Rebecca De mornay, Charlie sheen and Chris O'donnel..

true but frankenfurter has to be some one flamboyant to a point of being over the top and play it seriously  t c did it with a flare that had set the bar

majority of the movie picked the cast very well and kept in mind to pay homage to original cast but they missed with frankenfurter  casting

I watched most of this version of Rocky Horror as well.
It was how self-aware the production was. Incorporating audience bits and restyling the movie theater into the castle was cool.

Finally got a chance to see Whiskey Tango Foxtrot. It did not disappoint... well... maybe the ambush scene being so close range, but they get a pass for General BBT chewing butt over using the missile.

Over the weekend I watched the 2014 version of Godzilla and that seasonal classic Hocus Pocus, that I somehow had never seen before.

I enjoyed them both.

Watched Allegiant for completion purposes.  :-[ I totally understand its 13 rotten rating at the tomato patch.  Even after Jeff Daniels explained everything, I didn't understand any of it.

Decided to watch Star Trek Beyond today while I was home sick.

It was okay.

Watched Finding Dory. It really isn't as good as Finding Nemo but pretty good nonetheless.

Picked up Star Trek Beyond with the miniature models of the ships.

Also watching Judge Dredd, thinking I will watch Dredd later to see the complete difference in the two movies.

Karl Urban can act, that's the difference.

Dredd? Karl Urban didn't act, Karl Urban's jaw acted.

Watched ST Beyond at a friends place this weekend too. Of the three Kelvin Timeline films, I'd say ST Beyond is the just slightly better than ST09 and leagues better than STID. But that's not saying all that much as my overall issues about the KT films still remains: the overall bloody sense of OMG scale. At least we saw a KT-Connie get slagged...

Now as to which is better Judge Dredd or Dredd? I'd say it would depend of what you're expecting. While both are action and violence heavy films, Judge Dredd is more 'camp' and Dredd is more 'serious'. And honestly, I prefer Dredd.

And that's more acting than Stallone did.

stalones dredd could had been something that every dredd fan would had loved but no they had to remove the helmet and make him have a female interest. no dredd fan even consider it a dredd at all. few pluses for stalones dredd they did do mega city one beautifully the wardroid was well done the council was well done and hall of justice building did fit the asthetic of the comic.
bad things bad writing and stalone removing the helmet which dredd never ever does not even in a shower...helmet stays on! rico was horribly chosen all the extra stuff that would make it great was toned down...only the destruction of acar with high explosive shell was ok
