(Answered) Machine Gun Array and Damage Allocation
« on: 21 September 2016, 09:24:37 »
Is a Machine Gun Array a piece of equipment that cannot take weapon Damage in a combat or is it treated like a weapon like the machine guns in the Array .  If it is Damaged or destroyed does that mean you can fire the Machine guns that were incorporated within it separately . For the time being I am treating it as a piece of equipment as opposed to a weapon but I still want to know if this  is the correct thing to do .

I'm not sure what the effective distinction is between a weapon and a piece of equipment here, but it can take a critical hit like any other item.  If it is destroyed you can fire the machine guns within it separately.

The distinction occurs in Combat Vehicle damage allocation . If it is not a weapon than it cannot be destroyed on the critical table .
