It is a nice looking ship proof of concept. Even if it never worked out.

500 is the number of Warships Now. 500 looks like it will stay for a long time.

This was the third nuclear-powered civilian ship (after a Russian icebreaker and Savannah), the German cargo vessel Otto Hahn as commissioned in 1968:

Unlike Savannah, the reactor was removed in 1979 and she was subsequently rebuilt; a really major rebuilding - rear superstructure removed, midships superstructure moved aft to create a large container deck (she was originally a bulk ore freighter). She then continued to sail the seas with various owners under the names Trophy/Norasia Susan/Norasia Helga/Carmen/Hua Kang He/Anais/Tal/Madre until 2009.

And at fifty pages, it's time for a new thread!
"Thanks to Megamek, I can finally play BattleTech the way it was meant to be played--pantsless!"   -Neko Bijin
"It's just that the Hegemony had one answer to every naval problem. 'I kills it with my battleships.'" - Liam's Ghost
"...finally, giant space panties don't seem so strange." - Whistler
"The BT universe is startlingly deficient in both wisdom and hindsight." - Cray
"Damn you, Weirdo... Damn you for being right!" - Paul
Battleforce Space is too bulky. I vote we start calling it BattleFace.
