Something of a combination effort to come up with a suit that, while not exactly the most effective suit at any one specific thing, is however, absolutely the most annoying suit at everything it can do.
Blame /tg/ for this. Blame them hard.

I've yet to be able to actually test it against any real players in an actual tabletop game (I haven't used it at all in MegaMek yet), due to everyone that's seen it, either refuses to go near them and goes around them, and/or blankets them with repeated artillery strikes before I could do anything.
This includes players I've never gone up against before.  :'(

Maybe I should try for double-blind rules.... >:D }:)

No background fluff as yet for it. Although if enough people like it (or vehemently hate it, which of course means its just as annoying as its supposed to be), I might write something up.

A Firedrake, because you hate infantry (and/or like setting small fires)
Light TAG because its fun to make 'Mechs freak out if they know you have artillery available (and/or a few angry Catapults lurking in the trees).
And a Magshot because you like to plink things and prefer your BAs to still be a damn annoyance even when you're not causing TAG Warnings or setting PBIs on fire.
Oh, and it can do all that, and still swarm you too ~Love!

Try deploying them as hidden units or giving them transports, whether on omnimechs or with dedicated vehicles.

Just by looking at the numbers, I'd say it would be brutal in aToW games, but I am not sure it would be great at anything other than being annoying outside of that. I'd say it definitely needs some fluff. Was it made for a specific faction?

Go with it being a semi-open/merc design, considering mercs normally require units that can perform multiple roles, and don't generally have the c-bills to afford role specific models.


Drop the 2nd ground MP for a 10th point of armor and I'll take it. As is it's just too easy to kill with multiple 5- or 10-point hits.
