Small craft/dropships and bomb bay ordnance?
« on: 19 July 2017, 08:17:15 »
Small craft and dropships can have an internal bomb bay. I see the rules in Strategic Ops. But I'm trying to figure out if any form of external hardpoint ordnance can be used there, or only certain types.

So for example, whether it can carry the Arrow IV Air-to-Air and Anti-Ship missiles. Or whether its limited to air-to-ground ordnance or even limited to just dropping unguided bombs.

Any help on this is appreciated. I've been digging through the books I'm just not seeing the answer.

There are no restrictions. If it fits, it drops. The only restriction is a maybe, in that these vessels are limited to dropping six bombs per turn. It's not clear if this means six of whatever you have in the bay, or six bomb slots' worth of stuff, which would somewhat hamper their ability to deploy munitions that take up more than one slot.
