Direct Fire Artillery Question
« on: 29 July 2017, 04:52:03 »
Dumb question

When you engage in direct fire, do you add the +7 artillery modifier? Or is it just Gunnery + Attacker Movement Mod + LoS Mods?

TO p185 for direct fire artillery.  Its Gunnery skill +4 (not +7, that's the indirect artillery modifier) + attacker movement + LoS mods.

Sure enough. It's there plain as day. My insomnia-fueled curiosity was not reading well at 6am

Quote from: TO pg 185
While most players use artillery for indirect attacks, an artillery-equipped unit has several attack options for directly targeting enemy units.
In all instances, start with the attacker’s Gunnery Skill as a base to-hit number, with a +4 to-hit modifier; apply all other modifiers as noted below.
