This Saturday, September 9th, I'll be running two Battletech games at DaveCon in Okemos, Michigan.
6 p.m.
"Attack on Mars"
The invasion fleet has been destroyed and there are no reinforcements coming. Lindon's Battalion, The Dismal D's, and Beta Regiment have been destroyed. Now it's up to the madmen of Zeta Battalion to face down ComStar's ROM forces alone on the cold surface of Mars.
We'll be playing this game using Total War rules with modifications for low gravity movement! Yep, you'll be seeing Assault 'Mechs moving as fast as a Locust--if they're willing to risk the leg damage!
A good game for players with a decent grasp of the Classic Battletech/Total War Ruleset.

"The MechGrinder"
The MechGrinder returns to Michigan! This time, we've updated the MechGrinder for Alpha Strike. It's a small arena in the Reaches of Solaris VII with Assault and Heavy 'Mechs, so the fights are going to be brutal! Get shot out of your 'Mech, grab another one and jump right into the action.
Don't know how to play Alpha Strike? Not a problem, rules will be taught to new players.
