"Infantry - 1 platoon" should be "Cargo, Infantry - 1 ton" or "Cargo, Infantry (1 ton)"  (Style is inconsistent in this RS volume but either one is at least accurate about the design.)

* "Year: 3060" should be "Era: Succession Wars" based on TRO3039 page 28 and the MUL.

Correction: MP should assumedly be 8/12, as that is the same as standard Scimitar tanks and is the maximum MP for a hovertank with the other listed equipment and armor.

Error: CTF-1X and -2X Cataphract sheets are in both the BattleMechs and First In Centuries sections
Correction: As per TRO: 3039, the Cataphract's home is the First In Centuries section; remove the CTF-1X and -2X sheets from the BattleMechs section

Error: The image shows the standard 3E Banshee
Suggested correction: Switch the image to that from the original TRO 3050 (which, according to TRO 3050 Upgrade, shows the BNC-3S).

[Bad_Syntax]

VND-1AA Vindicator has 1 ton unallocated., perhaps its the head medium laser?
STK-4P Stalker has 1 extra heat sink allocated, probably the 2nd one in the Left Arm.
CTF-1X Cataphract is in there twice, Page 224 and 391, remove the first one as its out of place.
CTF-2X Cataphract is in there twice, Page 225 and 392, remove the first one as its out of place.
WSP-1 Wasp is 2 tons overweight, I'm guessing that is the cockpit which was not counted as primitive (20 tons, JJ 2.5, Engine 4, Gyro 2, Cockpit 5, Structure 4, Armor 3.5, 1t MedLas).  Alternatively it could be 25 tons instead, which would give it .5 tons excess.

Mechbuster, Page 297 and 298 variants, both should have nose armor of 18, not 12, based on TRO.

CitizenErased mentioned the Cataphract issue already, but I listed page numbers if it helps.

Error: Design is illegal under the rules.
Page 107 Tech Manual "All ammunition-dependent weapons except for machine guns (including their Light and Heavy versions) and nail or rivet guns require at least a ton of ammunition/ (Machine guns, nail guns and rivet guns may carry ammo in half-ton lots instead).

The Long Tom doesn't have any ammo listed for it. Fix is to remove something, such as a ton of MG ammo, or some of the communications equipment for Long Tom ammo.

Error: Design is listed as being 0 tons, when the TRO has it as 10 tons. The Internal Structure/Armor diagram also shows no internal structure.

Fix: Change 0 tons to 10 tons to match the TRO. Add 1 dot to each location for Internal structure. Recalculate BV.

Mobile Long Tom Artillery Cannon (Support Carriage)
Error: Design is listed as being 0 tons, when the TRO has it at 5 tons. The Internal Structure/Armor diagram also shows no internal Structure. Too much armor (64 points total, where as a 5 ton vehicle is limited to (3.5xtonnage) +40 = 57.5 = 57 points of armor).

Fix: Change the weight to 5 tons, add 1 dot to each location for IS. Remove 7 points of armor (or more). Recalculate BV

   I was looking at the Banshee 3S record sheet and i observed a problem. All 4 medium lasers are cramed in the right torso with a PPC and SRM6 as company. In the meantime in Battletechnology #4 which has the only in depth information on the development of 3S the weapons are given as 2 ML on the right arm and 2 ML on the rear of the center torso whyle the CT small laser is in the RT. To suport this the art in the first two TRO 3050 shows the 3S with 2 medium lasers on it's arm. I find this configuration much better than having half the mechs firepower crammed in one location just waiting for an ammo explosion. Is the record sheet in need of an errata or something?

You would need to tell us which Record Sheet publication you are looking at for us to even begin to answer. Then I can move this to the proper errata thread and we can investigate.

Please note, BattleTechnology is not considered canon and as such not a good reference to use for determining accuracy.

 But as further proof, I checkhed Camospecs and all the 3S versions clearly have medium lasers on their arm.

Record Sheets 3025 and 3026 are out of print and no longer considered accurate. RS 3039 is the current edition that Introduction Tech units are listed in and I will file this in that errata thread for investigation.

   For all units that have one or more PPC weapon(s):

    Error: PPC's are listed  in the "Weapons & Equipment Inventory" as 10 [DE, X] in their Damage column.
    Reasoning: PPC's are indeed Direct-Energy weapons [DE], but not Explosive Weapons [X].
                       Reference: Total Warfare, p.303

    Fix: Replace all entries for PPC damage by 10 [DE]

RS 3039 Unabridged, PDF edition

p.235, Orion ON1-V-DC (Advanced)

The record sheet shows this variant includes a Command Console.

The MUL shows this variant was introduced in 2913: http://www.masterunitlist.info/Unit/Details/2337/orion-on1-v-dc

However, TacOps p.300 shows the following usage dates for the Command Console:
Introduced: 2631 (Terran Hegemony)
Extinct: circa 2850
Recovered: circa 3030

Further, the TacOps v3.1 errata includes some changes to the Command Console, but the usage dates are not changed.

This means the ON1-V-DC cannot have a Command Console, as it was introduced right in the middle of the Command Console's extinction period.

It appears the Command Console is the whole point of featuring this variant, so I think the ON1-V-DC will need to have its date of introduction changed.

On both units, the range of the electronic warfare equipment should be 3, not 6.

Is the record sheet for the J.Edgar (Flamer) wrong as it states ammo for the flamers but unless I'm mistaken a fusion engined vehicle does not require ammo for a flamer??

Xotl: they are vehicle flamers, which require ammo.  Not a configuration that makes a lot of sense, because of the fusion engine, but it's taken from TR 3039, which says specifically it uses vehicle flamers, so no errata.

P. 30 - J-27 (Fusion)

It is noted as being faster than a standard J-27 in the 3039 TRO.  This build is 9.5 tons, allowing an upgraded engine "FUSION 70" - giving a 7/11 movement. 


Side note : The ICE Engine can also be upgraded to an "I.C.E. 60" at no additional weight penalty, giving the standard J-27 a 6/9 profile.

p. 18 - APC (Hover Sensors)

The design is underweight as listed, and has an empty turret.  I believe this may be a result of the sheet being generated before Remote Sensor Dispensers were clarified as having 30 integral sensors and no ability to carry reloads.

Suggested fix: drop only one of the two turret mounted Machine Guns to mount the Remote Sensor Dispenser.

If the intent is to make the variant unarmed, the 1.5 tons from the turret, other Machine Gun and ammunition could be plowed into armor (potentially giving it 10 points of armor on all four remaining facings).

As above, this design is underweight and probably for the same reason (being generated before the RSD clarification).

Suggested fix: Put the other two tons into armor (the RSD is only half a ton, while dropping the SRM-6s to SRM-4s frees up two tons, and turret loses half a ton too).

(NB: this is intended to be identical to the RS found in RS 3058Uu-IS, p. 112)

Mobile Headquarters (ICE) - p.58 (confirmed with jymset)

Issue: The design is 0.4 tons overweight. This is likely due to the change in power amplifier rounding which made it weigh 0.1 tons to 0.5 tons.
Fix: Remove the 0.4 tons of cargo.
