Not to be outdone the Duchy of Oriente "acquired" the plans for the Anvil via a spot of corporate espionage and took the time to establish it's own modern take on the design. Production is still limited due to the finicky nature of the new laser systems and difficulty in sourcing sufficient numbers of angel ecm suites but the mech has already began to appear in limited numbers among the Fusiliers of Oriente and intriguingly the Duchy of Orloff's grenadiers have somehow obtained a handful.

Impressed by the ruggedness and accuracy of the design the Strategios commissioned Ceres Metals to develop a capellan variant of this mech.
