(Answered) ComStar/Word of Blake OCS prerequisites
« on: 17 March 2014, 14:28:36 »
On page 73 in the Time of War PDF, the prerequisites for Officer Candidate School state that, "Character must have used the Intelligence, Police or Military Schools only...."  If I'm creating a ComStar or Word of Blake civilian character (i.e., one who attended a Civilian School for Stage 3) and want him to begin play as an "officer" (i.e., an Adept, Demi-Precentor, or Precentor), do I simply ignore this prerequisite to enter OCS, or is there some other means for ComStar/Word of Blake civilians to obtain officer rank during character creation?

On a related note, the Officer field (p. 84) requires the Basic Training or Basic Training (Naval) Field.  Should this requirement be waived for ComStar/Word of Blake civilian officers?

Thank you for your response.

Those civvies would have to go through Basic training prior to becoming C*/WOB officers.

The solution is just ignore Paul.
