Extreme Temps pg 62

Infantry:
Quote
conventional
infantry platoons cannot be deployed outside a vehicle or building
in temperatures that exceed 50 degrees C or are less than –30
degrees C,
Easy enough to understand. But then...
Quote
unless they are XCT troops (see p. 351), in which case
they ignore such movement restrictions.
Does this mean Conventional Infantry marked as XCT do not suffer any movement penalties for cold/hot weather?

example, a XCT Jump Platoon (Rifle) has a move of 3. In -40 degree weather the move penalty is -1 for vees and infantry. Would the move change to 2 or since they are XCT their movement remains the same at 3?

Hush you! We're busy debating if you can throw omni-trailers in buildings with toxic atmospheres, underwater. Xotl keeps arguing about the CF of the basement.

Normal services will be resumed. There will be lemon-scented hand towels. The Computer is your friend :)

On second thought... Just forget about it. Go on with your lives and do not look under that rock over there.

Tis a stupid question. Had I actually read p351 it would have been clearer.

Quote from: TO p351
XCT Troops appropriately equipped for extreme temperatures are unaffected by movement limitations imposed by such conditions.

Derp. Move along nothing to see here.
