End of the first paragraph:
while four screen launchers give ship captains additional options in both offensive and defensive operations.
Screen launchers are not listed in the ship's stat block anywhere.
Techmanual page 237 says screen launchers were first introduced in 3055 by the Draconis Combine, several hundred years after the Concordat was introduced on the other side of the Inner Sphere, and well after the last Concordat was destroyed in the first succession war, as stated in the ship's fluff on the same page:
No more Concordats were built after war’s end, but the last few survived until the First Succession War.
So my question:
Is the mention of screen launchers in the fluff a mistake?
- If it is not a mistake, and the stat block is somehow in error, what locations do the four launchers appear in and how much ammo should they each have?
- If it is not a mistake, should the "introduced" date in the techmanual get errata'd?
