I'm writing a short story taking place on Dalkeith in April 66.
The main character a survivor of the 13th Donegal pilots a Banshee 6S - after 2 years of constant fighting and poor leader ship the damage and poor repairs to the Mech already fills a list.
It is also natural that the weapons might be damaged.
Were as the HGR is tuned down by the pilot (some minor damages to some coils; I know not cannon) and to reduce recoil and so the stress for the damaged hip.
Another "flair" could be the destruction of the Defiance ??? LB10X (shredder is the 2; desintegrator the 20 - although I've found both names for a Lyran LB10X)
A refit means it could be replaced with weapons of similar crits and weight.
I have three options
- find an LB10X armed Mech that got a Refit Kit and used that weapon - for example Centurion 9D LB10X vs RAC5 (did not find anything else yet)
- older config of the Banshees RT (3S PPC; 2xMLAS; SRM6)

What would you choose and why? I would gladly have some input.
Because the Banshee start to become a daily guest of my thoughts.
I wonder if the "record sheets of the Banshee like those of the T-Bolt ( :-[ missiles) would need a rearrangement.
Look the 3S + hero; 5S + heros, 7S; 9S all have a similar loadout but all of them place it in different locations.
With some "refit" the feel of those Banshees can be the same:

Like the Sawyer variant only a single ERPPC - question is to place it into RT or LA....
same question as for the 5S - shoud the 2 MLAS in the RT face rear wards?
however the 9S and the 9S2 are two very hard mechs - simple because of the huge Targeting computer with the only possible location of the TC in the RT. alternative would be to drop the lower arm activator for the LT and place TC and LPPC there and the HPPC in the RT.
