Luzerne?
« on: 26 April 2017, 10:32:50 »
Are there any products that detail the 3055 space battle over Luzerne? All I can find are bits here and there, mostly in TRO 3057.

I don't recall if the Historical Turning Points has any info or not. Worth checking out if you haven't already.

That was my first thought too, but it's set during Op BULLDOG, so I kinda doubt it's got more than tidbits.

Yeah, that's just the BULLDOG stuff, and also ground-only. Dragon Roars has the orbital prelude to that campaign, at least.

On a similar note, does anyone know of a good product to look in for an aerospace RAT for either the Combine or Jaguars in the late Invasion, or Kurita RAT for the Civil War era? In either case, I'm looking for ones with DropShips.

The closest I could think of for the Combine would be Era Reports 3052 and 3060 but neither of these include dropships.  In fact I think they only started including Dropship tables with Aerotech 2.  For the fighters at least maybe roll half from one RAT and half from the other and re-roll anything that anachronistic?

For the Civil War Era you are pretty well covered though, Aerotech 2 is set around 3061 (IIRC) and you have FM:Updates for 3067 and both have Draconis Combine Dropship tables.  Depending on just when you are setting your scenario you can use more of one or the other.

For the Jags I can't think of a single Jaguar specific aerospace table ever being released.  The closest would be a hybrid of the general Clan aerospace tables in Era Report: 3052 and 3060.  In fact you might as well just go with ER:3052 because Luzerne is only three years later.

Sadly, I'm specifically looking for DropShips, not fighters. Also, AT2r does not actually have any RATs.

Thanks for the FM:U suggestion, though. That helps a lot for Kurita, and I could probably cobble some Jaguar ideas together by blending some of the other Clan charts. O0

MechWarrior 3 has DropShips RATs, the IS one is all civillian but the Clan one is, for some strange reason, military.

Yes it does unless they removed it when they revised the book.  Although for some reason they don't have tables for Clan Dropships.

Kuritan Dropships (AT2, pg.63)
2- Nagumo
3- Achilles
4- Intruder
5- Excalibur
6- Leopard CV
7- Union
8- Leopard
9- Overlord
10- Triumph
11- Condor
12- Okinawa
