Miniatures with mismatch schemes?
« on: 09 June 2017, 18:02:04 »
The idea is that you have a campaign going and you just had a legged merc Zeus get it's leg replaced with a DC Zeus leg.  The tech changes it out, but it's got to go on to the next mission without the luxury of a new paint job.

Have you ever painted a mech with mismatched paint schemes to represent this?

Something like that. The Goshen War College prides itself for its life fire practice. Parts and armor destroyed during practice are not repainted until the end of term.
I painted a Watchman resembling this style.

Something like it, though the background of this piece isn't specifically that.

(Sorry about the glare, I sucked at cameraing)
Good news is the lab boys say the symptoms of asbestos poisoning show an immediate latency of 44.6 years. So if you're thirty or over you're laughing. Worst case scenario you miss out on a few rounds of canasta, plus you've forwarded the cause of science by three centuries. I punch those numbers into my calculator, it makes a happy face.
